The studio is led by Adam Baker, an architectural designer and Licensed Building Practitioner with more than a decade of experience as a carpenter. His construction background brings a practical understanding of materials, buildability, cost and the consequences of design decisions made early in a project. Design and construction are considered together from the beginning, allowing each project to develop with greater clarity and purpose.

Our work is focused on creating homes and spaces that feel considered as a whole: clear in their planning, comfortable to live in and carefully thought through in the way they will be built.
